Scions of the Stars RP 21+ is an adults-only Discord roleplaying server set in an original science fiction star system. Our focus is on collaborative storytelling rather than dice rolling; action sequences are determined through plotting. The style of writing is best described as literate/novella.

Minors are not permitted, as storylines contain mature content, including but not limited to: dystopian themes, graphic violence, depictions of war, genocide, trafficking, slavery, eugenics, drug abuse and explicit sex. Our RPG Rating is 3/3/3.

This writing community is a safe and collaborative environment for mature adults.

Hosted on Notion, this website functions as our Player’s Handbook and is an exhaustive look at Scions of the Stars lore.

If you are a new member, we strongly encourage you to go straight to the Quick Start Guide. The rest will come in due time, as you actually begin to write on the server.

If you are a seasoned spacefuck, you can use the table of contents to jump directly where you want to go.

If you are currently in our #age-filter channel on Discord:

  1. All members of Scions of the Stars RP 21+ must follow our server rules. Read our rules, listed below. If you do not feel like you can follow them, please go ahead and leave the server.
  2. Continue to the Narrative section below to begin learning the server lore.
  3. Wait patiently and a mod will be with you to complete your prescreening shortly.

If you are currently in our #submissions channel:

  1. Reread the Narrative section below. This shouldn’t be the first time, and it won’t be the last time.
  2. Continue scrolling to the Character Creation section. There’s more lore for you to read! Yay!
  3. After you’ve chosen your faction and world, return to the #submissions channel and follow the directions there. You will have your own thread to discuss your character with our Storyteller team.
